Syp,(I'm the youngest of seven children), the one size fits all model doesn't work.
In WA, overall we have a better school system than in most of the country,should we get the same amount of funding as NSW,which clearly has a bad education system?
I dont think so,and I live here.
An example of the differences between the states,is that our Premier, a liberal premier wants the state to be the provider of electricity,where as I believe it should be in private hands,only through competition will retail electricity users get better service and cheaper prices.
Indeed our state controlled energy provider needs to replace our aging wooden power poles,at a cost of circa $1.5 billion(happy to be corrected on this).
Should abbott actually achieve his aim in repealing the carbon tax,I dont think our electricity prices will come down,quite the contrary I suspect our electricity prices will actually go up.
Frankly,the liberals are out of their depth,the only thing stopping them from unraveling completely,is the cone of silence,this too will soon disappear,the nationals are already arcin up.
