OK, so everyone has been jumping up and down and getting excited. For me, I am not making any money yet, but no bad blood.

Let's take stock of where we are and what potential ZRL really has. Nice post Pumpty on some financial facts, but wanted to start a new thread.

Now, i am not a massive holder in ZRL, but i have enough that if it realised its full potential, i would have a wee grin...

    1. Global Mineral Resource estimate for Kangaluwi Copper Project now stated (JORC 1994 compliant) at 21.8 Mt grading 0.89% Cu for 193,000 tonnes copper contained - 100% owned.

    2. 75% of the greater Kangaluwi project remains to be drill tested. In total, a mere 25% of the surface define geochemical anomaly has been tested (3.5km at Kangaluwi and 3.5km at Chisawa)

    3. Of the 25% tested, many assays are still to be reviewed by labs... yes, assays still outstanding... so, we know a poofteenth of bugger all about how big this is at this stage.

    4. Cheowa, please please don't forget Cheowa - 51% exercisable by Glencore (the mammoth)... 6.5M tonnes at 1.1% Cu for 71,500 contained Cu. People don't mention this little baby much, but Glencore will be trying to push this project ahead and plans on spending $10M US on exploration. As Glencore are big, and Cheowa is small by comparison, they may even let ZRL have a crack at running it, but that remains to be seen. Either way, Cheowa can still be a cash cow (big market cap asset) for ZRL. For those who don't know much of this, suggest you check out this link from 5 months ago (http://timeszambiapost.com/we-are-ready-to-defend-zimbabwe-nujoma-23045.htm)

5.Rock Dumps - OK, not sure if i myself agree with spending money on this, but 1 of 3 tested has ore. they also have 1st bite at 5 other rock dumps. The cash flow from this would be nice, but it is small fry compared to the above and maybe they will ditch this program ... guess we'll find out.

so, in closing, let me just say that the current Kangaluwi 193,000 Cu and the approval of the mining licence is just the start of the story for ZRL. I do expect that they have been chasing a JV partner / investor over the past few months and with copper soaring, supply dwindling because of GFC caused cancellation / delay of projects, ZRL should have little trouble finding someone.

This company is a real minnow in terms of market cap against the like of SFR / CDU. In fact, it is often less than 10% of its brothers in cap size, but with 80%+ in some cases, of their resource base.

The numbers will add up some time. ZRL doesn't need to be producing today to grow in value as its in the ground assets will grow. also, the copper rise may continue for another 3-4 years before supply and demand meet and oversupply occurs (depends on who you listen to).

Good luck all holders and hope you can stay on board to see some real profits from ZRL, not just a few pips.
