From the OZL strand there has been a discussion of the problems for the expansion of both Prominent Hill and Olympic Dam.
It has been pointed out that they use half of the electricity generated in SA, and that they will need massive power line upgrades to meet their needs.
This may make the line from Innanincka viable as an alternative as well as solving GDY's problem.
