I have always thought that getting a connection to the grid will be a formality if the pilot plant can get off the ground and run reliably for an extended period, as well as GDY shoring up their drilling methods in the granite. The amount of "clean" energy stored in the cooper basin is so significant that if the government doesn't help with transmission lines, they are doing their constituents a grave injustice.

Of course this is provided that we have a reliable method of retrieving the energy. I really do believe it's only a matter of time until this happens, whether its GDY that sorts it, or some other party.
