Undoubtedly enough numbers there to set in motion a tsunami of perversion, stealing and corruption in a country that once had a "religion which was based in speaking the truth and scientific method of analysis."

There is no way to redeem a religious or a political system, they must be replaced by something from completely outside the corruption of the prevailing system and that will require a catastrophic collapse of the prevailing systems.

The perversion of religion in the US with its egocentric leaders, prosperity doctrines, and religious presentations that are no more than second rate entertainment, is far more pernicious and soul destroying than worrying about atheists who in the majority are people who are still moral, ethical, yet switched off to the dogma and anti-science, anti-logic, that is presented as essential belief. Atheists are more likely people inoculated against the utter idiocy of the American religious way.

The most materialistic people in the US are the religious class. They embrace their doctrines without question or tolerance to others who may have differing opinions.
