Just watching the threads and posts over the last week or so here and I was hard pressed to find ONE piece of good or upbeat news or general topic discussion.
By and large it's all bad news and commentary. Outside the gutter press is having a Bad News week field day. So I'd like to point out that this is a lesson on pure mass psychology. Mass hysterical reaction to the flu virus has precipitated a market downturn, and economic down turn and a crazy run on toilet paper.
We are social animals that act and react as a herd. This is fascinating to watch and posters here are an example of human behaviour, from the cool logical moderate to the crazy soothsayer.
