hmm. Okay enough talk about Daredevil/Fed. He made his profit after going in hard on this one. Good luck to him. Even though DD has sold I still hold quite a decent parcel and I think I'll continue to see my funds rise with Erongo.
As I was stating earlier they have drilled 6 holes allready which is an achievement in itself. Very fast moving management. Strong signs for an explorer. They got a drillrig sourced in quick time. They have historics..and comparisons have been made to the historics by posters saying the current results aren't as good as the historics etc etc. I'll point something out as I did with Acap resources drilling results in one of my other posts.
When Erongo released their historical data which investors would have seen..they should have read more carefully.
Area 1
A total of 68 percussion holes and two diamond holes were drilled in Area 1 (16 by Falconbridge and 54 by Goldfields). Results were reported in categories, with the midpoint for each category being used to apply a grade to the mineralised intercepts. Significant results (ie. results above 200ppm U3O8) are summarised in Table 1 below:
Now from erongo's past message showing the historical data they only show the significant intercepts which is considered to be above 200ppm. They are good Namibian grades with good widths as stated by previous posters. They also state in that past announcement
Goldfields reported mineralisation in a broadly flat undulating zone 25m to 35m thick which could be traced through most of the holes. U3O8 mineralisation estimated to be above 200ppm was intersected in holes drilled over an area of 800m by 250m and is open to the south for potentially a further 800m.
A mineralogical investigation positively identified uraninite as the major primary uranium mineral and a metallurgical study concluded that no metallurgical problems existed.
When comparing current results to historics I think we are looking good. See current results below
Now what has to be remembered is that from historics they only showed the SIGNIFICANT intercepts. In the current drilling results they havn’t just shown us 4 out of the 6 holes which would be intercepts greater than 200ppm. They reported all intercepts to share holders. I’m glad they did. I know what they are definitely hitting and they aren’t hiding anything from us.
Remember these points from their last announcement.
• Drilling currently in progress to test extensions to area of known mineralization under shallow cover. A recent ground scintillometer survey has extended radiometric anomaly at Area 1 over an area of 1.8km by 1km.
• Drill testing of Area 3 Prospect, covering an anomalous target area of 5km by 2km and underlain by intensely jointed layered granites similar to those in Area 1 will commence after Area 1 drilling completed.
The current drilling area has been expanded to 1.8 by 1km and then the next target area is 5km by 2km. These areas are huge. Of course we know they have only hit uranium in the Area 1 prospect but that already has put a smile on my face. The area they are in has uranium. Its been proven. If the 5km by 2km is similar to that of the Area 1 prospect start counting the dollars. It will be a large open pit mining operation. All areas are extremely close to one another! :) See below.
So in conclusion. These targeted areas are from only 1 of their 4 EPL’s. Looking real good IMO when you look at the market cap of Erongo. They also have further mineral sands licenses that look likely to be given as an in-sepcie distribution to current share holders down the track. You can work out an estimated resource from the Area 1 prospect and its a decent sized resource..imagine if the Area 3 prospect is charged. I’m holding long.
