No, I think it's stupid to go into pointless wars. What I'm trying to say is Chinese military threat is being exaggerated as a threat to prepare the public for a new Cold War, waste public money into bloated defense contractors and intelligence agencies. Put it this way the Chinese GDP is like 60% of the US nominally but they are seriously outgunned (although they've been improving) in just about every military metric from nuclear forces, air forces and naval power. On the other hand Soviet GDP was about half the US in GDP but an even match for US/NATO militarily.
