Tony Abbott has to take off his stupid Catholic hat and stop feeling warm and fuzzy about this.
He was elected on a platform of stopping the same people coming here!! Stopping them landing on Christmas Island but shipping them over from Frankfurt instead is sheer madness. Sheer madness.
If he wants to take any, it should ONLY be middle eastern Christians fleeing persecution. They will be grateful, they'll assimilate and they won't become terrorists! Compare the Christian Lebanese who came here almost half a century ago to the muslim ones who followed - cheese and chalk.
