I saw something, it might have been yesterday, a news snippet about the people who were resisting being called backed to work in the office.
There were so many stories justifying this reluctance, from the pathetic to the real grievances like having to listen to people eating.
But the "most harrowing" experience for one bright young thing was overhearing a conversation in which the end of the book she was reading was revealed. Shock! Horror!
That should be grateful they aren't being called back to a Lancashire cotton mill in the 19th century. Or a giant rubbish heap in Bangladesh.
But I mustn't be unkind
Like hell I won't.
