You are correct, but we are also closing in on the dates for the final appeal on climate change and resource consent hearings, which (I think) are set for 27-30 May and 11-12 June respectively. If BTU can get through these hearings with the project intact I think we are there, more or less.
For the NZ government to grant the access consents one day before public consultation would have become mandatory is a big vote of confidence - you can bet RF&B would have done their damnest to sabotage the access issue as well. I hadn't expected this, but take it to mean that finally the Govt are getting stuck in. What do others think ?
