gm, you seem to labour under the belief that such attitudes are entrenched on the opposite side of the political fence you claim to support. If you had spent less time dwelling on your uncles farm and more time out with the masses you may have found the real situation somewhat different. In fact such attitudes generally have a relationship to the status of people within their own society, with the poorer being less tolerant and more fearful of being displaced by outsiders than those more secure financially. The political divide is generally split along similar lines. Your comment about the Liberals trying to appeal to the redneck and racist votes is in fact a snide dig at those that are in fact traditional supporters of the Labor party that you try to portray as sensitive, caring and sharing. I still think that you are in fact a Liberal supporter given the indirect way you are able to insult those on the side of politics that you claim to support, and your rabid descriptions of the Liberals.
