Safe buying at these levels, I also think it is VITAL that SLR slash costs to re-assure the market they are a lower cost producer. Even if they reduce costs by $50 OZ that is a huge difference in the scheme of things and especially when these higher cost miners are going to be wiped out.

We are all aware of the lucrative salaries some of the contractors, employees and staff are on at these sites.

Guess what, simply being in a remote part of AUS does not justify 2x the average AUS salary. I know guys getting paid $110K + for unskilled work in these areas.

Bring that down to 80K and they will still work, otherwise they are looking at 45K back here in Sydney.
