here's a homemade chart of historical Tungsten prices 1900 - 2007 normalised to 1998 US$ (use with caution)

based on public data from USGS (xls version)

I can't find a decent dataset of global consumption over the same period, otherwise i'd have tried to normalise the global production. would like to see where things stand at present on supply/demand and next, say 10 year outlook.
