I'm a live and let live individual and it has served me well.
It does work some times to tell the boss to eff off (it worked for me once) but it's not something I'd encourage.
It seems to me that those that complain the most in this space are not prepared to accept the consequences of their actions, or at the same time they have no skin in the game so don't care if things go pear shaped.
