My tale goes back to early 2012, before Pilbara Minerals entered the tantalum or lithium exploration game.
At this time, I was exploring for lithium on a tenement near Pilgangoora, so in the course of my work reviewed all the historical open file reports for the area. I noticed the Pilgangoora pegmatites, and their abundant spodumene that had been noted in historical shallow drilling. Of course nobody was overly interested in lithium then. Nevertheless, we attempted to gain access to the ground from Global Advanced Metals, but one thing led to another, the board of the Company got thrown out, and the opportunity was missed for the time being. Enter another board, and another attempt, another board thrown out, and another missed opportunity to get this cracker of a deposit. I had one last go, with another group, at securing it, but by this stage PLS had entered the arena and were well advanced on their offer to acquire Pilgangoora.

The one thing I am thankful for is having the balls (and supportive wife) to continue to back what I knew about the area, and plunge pretty much everything I had available in to PLS. The first purchase was 1 million @ 1c, I sold these for 5c and thought how clever I was. Luckily, bought back in, in the 3-5c range, in the first half of 2015. My biggest chunk was 2 million @ 4.8c at the beginning of June, 2015. Have since continued to add, average price about 7c.

I continue to hold because this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, to go from essentially nothing to what I think will be the largest deposit in the world, and in a commodity that is in hot demand.
