Remember, last years business model differ from this year - SMA is no longer focusing on carrier payment solutions. This is being wound down as the business heads in new direction.

This year, however, involves WeChat and Roolife e-commerce (amongst other things).

As it is the first time SMA has build an e-comm platform for 'Singles Day' one will need to wait to get any data, in fact it will take time to build.

I do expect a soft start this year, as SMA is only a few months into this new initiative but with DODOCA's help I will not be surprised if revenue will be as high as XXXXXX - give or take a few decimals.

You may have forgotten SMA has a 6 million user data base to tap into when targeting Chinese shoppers. (see previous ANN) So lets see how this unfolds in the days/weeks/months/years ahead.

If you isolate WeChat for a minute you will find they started to help Tensent in 2013, integrating sales campaign via smartphone users purchasing goods via WeChat interface, making over $HK637 million in 'Singles Day' sales that year alone.

The smartphone and WeChat integration has grown substantially since then - many other companies (including SMA) went in the same direction taking advantage of what this new technology had to offer.

If you look at WeChat statistics (thirteen hours old) you will understand why SMA is heading in this new direction:

Impressive statistics in travel (up 62% year-on-year) and as Australia is a preferred holiday destination, why not tap into WeChat users and sell travel and other services on Roolife and integrate it with WeChat.

Shareholders support the business, regardless what the competition (.ie Daigou's and other associates) thinks. Shareholders expect SMA to follow the trends of online users and look carefully at what other businesses are doing - would be more concerned if SMA didn't change direction as the market conditions are changing.

So let me see if I can help this other poster:

I see you added six characters, without a full stop infront. Does this mean revenue just short of a million ($999999?) in day one? What about the following days?

Just trying to work out if I need to wait until Jan next year to jump in or still wait for specific news?
