Throughout the report, lots of good references about Senegal and FAR... FAR might be a junior
but gets mentioned on the list of some of the companies involved in the region... No big deal but
for the author to think of FAR ahead of the heavy weights involved means something...
"The prospects for the North West African Atlantic Margin can now no longer be in doubt. TGS – the provider of geo-science data to oil and gas exploration companies - says that to date, 177 exploration wells have been drilled in the basin. Of these, a whopping 115 – or 66 per cent – have encountered hydrocarbons."
Oil rich region - No wonder so much interest from the majors to get a slice of the action in this region...
I'm sure we all will be rewarded, but not without patience...
