I agree with Sydneydutch - Nearmap is as much about a software platform for viewing the imagery as it is about digital photos. Apart from being able to be responsive to orders it also can produce oblique views and this is of significant benefit for some applications.
From what I understand (though I could be wrong) DigitalGlobe is a wholesaler rather than selling the product direct to customers. If necessary I'm sure Nearmap could buy off DigitalGlobe and deliver through its innovative online platform.
