The Rivers acquisition may take some time to clean up. They've moved the entire head office team from Melbourne to Sydney, and they had a hell of a lot of surplus inventory they had to dump on the market.
I guess promotions are tricky, but at the end of the day, if they managed to sell a bunch of goods at a reasonable price, then the chances of getting repeat business aren't too bad - it's promotion in a way.
SFH managed to turnaround Millers which was old and tired. They've rejuvenated an arguably difficult brand. It will take time, but I'm sure Rivers will turn out fine - even if they only make $3m NPAT off Rivers, it will still boost the margins and add to dividend potential.
Also, I personally think City Chic has huge potential in the USA. It's a big market and there aren't too many options in the plus size demographic outside of Target and the like.
