When I attended the AGM last year, FBR gave the impression that the robot was weeks away from being perfected and they were seriously looking at other applications of the tech. 10 months later and no technical updates and no announcements about other applications. I'm concerned they have had some technical problems they are struggling to overcome. Which is also concerning when considering the amount of engineers on staff.
Another thing to keep in mind, when I was talking to Mark Sheridan, he noted that it will take 18 months to set up a manufacturing line for the FBR machines (probably in Thailand). Which still hasn't been announced. A lot of cash will be burnt before a single dollar is made.
On a positive note though, the tech is easily transferred to other applications, so each additional application will only require approx 30% of the effort of the FBR machine. They really need to communicate more with their shareholders. So much guessing goes on in this forum because they don't give us any information.
