Posts like this just make me laugh. You should really go out there (into the world) and have a look yourself.
The last 18 months I've been travelling around (Southeast) Asia. What I've seen in regards to the Chinese building infrastructure, is just incredible and makes me shiver.
Sri Lanka since 2010: two new ports (Colombo and Hambantota), new roads everywhere, new airport in Hambantota (link)
Laos, Cambodia & Vietnam: New roads and dams in the most remote areas possible. We travelled down some small rivers and had to change boats a few times because of new dams beeing built. We are talking about billions of US Dollars invested.
Last but not least, check out what they have been up to in the Himalayas.

Now, in regards to AVZ and Manono, I have to admit that we are talking about a bloody long road. But compared to the projects they have already finished successfully, this is kindergarten to them.
