The expectation that all these roads will be built and maintained to a standard that will suffice for the transport of a 5mtpa spodumene mine is delusional.
The much hyped upgrade of the road into Manono clearly isn't capable of regular two way trucking traffic even if it survives the next wet season. Hence the proposed circular trucking route.
And what of the 'road' to the hydro station that features in the AVZ promotional video, who is going to pay for that?
The expectation seems to be that the Chinese will take care of all that - they don't even want to pay for the upkeep of the ones they already built to a poor standard in return for resources.
While the same group of posters regularly suggest that the USA or the Europeans are going to take over the mine.
What of the Hydro plant that Dathomir was supposed to be rebuilding - the one that was replaced with diesel generators in the SS - who is going to build that? Dathomir, who sold just sold a 5% stake in the mine for $500k upfront? Good luck with that.
All these funds magically appearing for the sole benefit of AVZ? All AVZ needs to do is worry about the mine and the rest of the logistics will magically fall into place - hilarious.
The DRC has a 30% stake but will never contribute a cent - they don't have the finances and let's face it, what real financial benefit actually flows through to the people of the DRC in any of its mining deals? Roads that are constructed - by foreign labour - that locals cannot afford to use.
Dathomir down to 10% while looking for the exit.
That responsibility for the required roads and power plant will fall on the shoulders of AVZ because AVZ is not a state owned enterprise capable of doing infrastructure for mining rights deals.
Meanwhile those that know the most about the Manono project have sold out for what you all seem to believe to be a 95% discount to fair value - people like Michael Langford who 'would never sell out'. How many posters claimed to have personally heard from Michael Langford that he wasn't selling out?
So many posters who have decided that AVZ already produces the greatest product and run around creating FUD about the quality of other producer's spodumene. 'The outback is red therefore the SC produced will short out batteries' argument was my personal favourite.
The most success you lot are likely to achieve with AVZ is measured in your personal tallies of liked posts for how well you deal with anyone who hasn't fallen under the AVZ spell and might question the actual viability of the plans.
So well done, you are all world class back slappers, but personally I'd prefer to invest with the next Nigerian Prince to make contact.
