Just asking how many 1.5t bags are needed and transported on road daily to support a 10mt mine? Can this happen all year round or stops at the rainy season? It was then suggested that a Chem plant should be build close by. That then begs the question how much does a Chem plant and power station cost on top of the mine build. Sure all up in the billions and how does this stack up in terms of AVZ with its current low MC?

Froggie I'm sure management are working on all your questions. The number of bags has been answered and was a simple calculation. At the moment I'll agree with others and say the 10mtpa is not feasible however I really don't think they will jump straight to a big mine it will be gradually build up - just logical. I'm sure once the infrastructure has been installed there will be a larger mine. The cost of refurbishing the hydro power station has already been accounted for and announced in the early days of the project. Management and Airguide will be working out how to meet other required costs. But again it will be a build up IMO.
