If the US pulled all spending on defence they would only save $800b. Fighting more wars, deploying more troops, supplying the war machine with its needs, will only increase the debt levels. Oh well as long as they are not fighting China they can save a motsa on some good cheap counterfeit ammo from there(Fascetious of course).
It is a pity this world is such a mess..imagine what could be done with all those billions wasted blowing things up. Which is of course another issue..every time something is destroyed by war it needs to be rebuilt. Earth has only finite resources and I don't know how long it can support rebuilding and rebuilding on top of what we normally consume in peace time.
