Religion has been the great force for good in the world.
The essence of religion is the faith that there is reality that transcends what we see and hear.
This sense is to be found all over the world.
but once religion is seduced by power it quickly becomes a source of coercion.
It is a great source of sorrow that the mass killings in Brussels and elsewhere in Istanbul and Africa are done in the name of religion.
