Rudds announcement todyay on solving the housing crisis is very interesting..

1) Get the labour state govts to release loads of land
2) Bring in 15,000 out-of-work builders from the USA.
3) newly arrived 15,000 builders find they have no where to live. Newly arrived builders from affluent country are used to living in nice large houses.
4) Newly arrived builders spend first six months building accomodation for an additional 15000 migrants.. hehe
5) Finally the new builders start working on the housing backlog.

All good for CSR building products. :-)

PS.. Newly arrived 15000 builders are used to high sugar soft drink diet, an essential nutritional item for hammering nails in the hot sun.
