I also said this elsewhere. If the economy does happen to improve (I hope for all our sakes) by the time of the next election then Rudd will most likely be voted back as a hero. Alternatively, if things turns south a lot more then I expect he'll be kicked out provided the opposition doesn't implode by then. In the latter scenario he may even end up as the most hated PM in history, especially if conditions deteriorate savagely (ie, depression). I don't care either way for him. I just want good politicians on both sides to get together and fight this war against a financial collapse.
