I wonder whether the fall and potential collapse of AAD due to the Dreamworld Deaths Disaster on the Gold Coast will have any meaningful impact on MQG.
MQG will have deeper pockets than AAD at least subsequent to the spin-off.
I wonder whether the class action plaintiffs will go up against MQG should AAD fail. MQG only gave it away in 2009 and a predecessor can sometimes be looked at depending on local legislation if rides were not maintained at sufficient standard for a number of years.
Hardly a material dent but the precedent created in an English Common Law country like Australia might not be a pig in a poke.
