I don't think that APAC have lost anything. They are a multinational company with fingers in many pies. PRX & before that ABU can be & were vehicles for tax loss offsets using share holders money to promote exploration, but with no intention to mine anything unless they found another Granites deposit. With ABU the head geo was a clown who's ambitions were not up to his capabilities along with no mining experience. He took the fall for the disaster of Old Pirate & Golden Hind, but the rest of the board were equally responsible & how much influence TAM had on the decisions made is only known but to a few.
