I haven't timed the markets, just got out while I was well ahead.

I was lucky with the silver, but a top had to be at hand, when a chart's spiking vertically, only morons stick with it.

I got out of the stock market in October 1986, 1 year before the crash, missed out on a lot, but made a lot anyway. Nice.

I don't pretend to be an expert investor, I try to avoid the worst crashes, and gold and silver are notorious for impoverishing their fans.

I try to buy cheap and sell high.

Only fools hold out for top dollar.
