"some sort of trading platform" doesn't sound very enticing to me. "Listed on a public exchange" is what I'd hope for.
Animoca is in breach of several Corporations Act sections and has no audited accounts for a couple of years now. Until you have a history of good governance you're not listing on a decent exchange. Best case is that by the end of the year Animoca is up to date with its June 21 half yearly, has held its AGM and has remedied whatever it needs to remedy with ASIC. Maybe in 2022 listing could happen?
If Grant Thornton are still the auditors (and that's a big if I've been unable to confirm through either Animoca or Grant Thornton) then I presume there needs free travel between HK and Australia for the audit.
What will be interesting is what ASIC do. I suspect before long they will start to pressure Animoca to fulfill its reporting obligations.
