The life of asset and diversity did not exist for this company to re rate.
The timing was tied to oil price and current cash flow where cash was used to purchase a long life US asset.
Wouldn’t have occurred if divis were printed - they would have destroyed the company with dilution and struggled to borrow.
You are underestimating the process to acquire.
Especially a mature stage and grade of asset comes with a different risk profile which means you pay more and what it does grant is the huge upside to oil price through increased production.
Patience and time will shine light.
We are all being to jumpy. Let it settle and let the experts do their jobs.
