I'm going to be patient here.
If they do a bit of self-reflection and do what they're paid to do (that is, look after shareholders), it is a win for the activists, even if board and management pretend this was what they were doing all along.
If they ignore the activists and management to survive this round of voting, the sword of Damocles hangs over them.
