    I loved the way Keating likened Howard to the
    Bishop of Ortu and Telleyrand. I knew that
    Telleyrand like Howard polarised opinion.

    What I don't know (except he limped) is
    who was the limping Bishop of Ortu?

    Google and Wikipedia had no data.

    Is there a HotCopper historian?
