The science of BIT225-009

Would anyone like to talk about the science of BIT225-009?  From my layman research, there are 2 current prongs to HIV treatment: ART (PrEP and PEP) for prevention, and HAART to inhibit replication and release of the virus.  The missing link is to eradicate the reservoirs of latent HIV (hiding under myelin coats in macrophages, CD4 and microglycia).  There is no treatment that does this.  In fact, no one even TALKS about this kind of treatment being on the horizon. Could BIT225-009 be the giant (!) step in eradicating HIV/AIDS?  Their claim seems incredible:  This compound KILLS latent HIV in macrophage reservoirs. Really?? Or is this the big news that we are waiting to validate at the Nov 27 conference?  It is very exciting, and I'd like to talk about it with others who know more about biotechnology than I do.
