Would recommend all on this forum to take the time to read this document, and if you have a connection to the NT now is the time to gather all friends and associates and provide your input, because we all know this will be a rallying cry to the greenies.

Section 8 on Page 25 notes the following;

The opportunity to make a written submission to the Panel on the Issues Paper closes on 30 April 2017.

Feedback can be provided by:

1. making a submission online by clicking on the “Have Your Say” tab at: www.frackinginquiry.nt.gov.au Written submissions will be published on the Inquiry’s website;
2. attending a hearing to present to the Panel at any of the communities set out below; or
3. attending a community meeting at any of the communities set out below.

The finding of the report are scheduled to be released as follows;

Release of Interim Report – June 2017 (mid 2017)
Release of draft Final Report – Oct 2017

This should provide ample opportunity for the NT government to establish laws prior to the completion of the NGP.
