Hi,

It would seem to me that a submission should be made by the shareholders association (SHA) on our behalf. I also believe that the submission should be sent to all elected Federal Government members and local NT Government members. I am assuming that the CTP management will be making a submission but if they are not neither should the SHA. In other words any campaign by the SHA should be done in conjunction with the CTP management.

The NT Government may be concerned with some locals and some radical environmentalists but they will be concerned with CTP shareholders outside of the NT. These Shareholders have a lot of power outside the NT which should concern the NT Government, remembering the NT is not a State, it is a Territory which is dependent on Federal money and only have the grace of the Federal Government to be able to rule. Remember the Euthanasia Bill. The pressure on the Federal Government is especially the case as the Coalition has only a one seat majority in the Lower House and with the dependence of 1 million jobs on gas on the East Coast (Page 6 Blue Energy Annual General Meeting 22nd November 2016) they should be intested in order to keep their jobs.
