The BFS has clearly been presented as poorly as possible, with no details of the advantages of taking the chosen development path.

There must be a reason for this, as with the amount of time spent "optimising" there is absolutely no doubt that the whole story has not been told.

There will be only one reason for the deceit - to benefit somebody. Just who is the real question.

The size of the asset is fairly well understood and Xstrata recently presented Garatau very favuorably (in the top 5 list in their preso), so putting doubt on the viability does not seem to make a lot of sense. Personally I agree with Jordan's post above to a large extent.
