I was just at lunch today and our receptionist was at the table we were talking about sports and she said my knees cannot cope with sports I said do you have OA and she said no but my husband does and it's really bad. I said I have a drug for you but its currently in phase 3 trials, she then tells me that her husband was involved in an OA trial that had injections in the stomach. She said he had one injection but then it got delayed due to some issues and then they re-evaluated him and they said he does not meet the criteria anymore so cannot continue! how can you have one injection and then not meet the criteria?

I was pretty excited to hear he was involved, and I asked her a thousand questions, but she has no idea but will find out and come back to me. I won't provide any names or where the trial is taking place but could be interesting to know what occurred and how it went and why he was taken off the trial.

she doesn't work every day so it might be next week until I see her again.
