Seems to me that you are a sad bitter case - I have my delate button ready :-)
The UMC meeting was open to all and I understand that the Chairman said they would stay as long as required to answer ALL questions. So all you and others had to do was ask. What pray is your beef with THEM now? Oh yes, forgot - the whole things is conspiracy isn't it! I am just a spectator and sadly not at the AGM as one cannot be in two places at once. I gather Mr Richards - he who seems to have given UMC some POZ - turned up with a posse who were treated courteously and who, I am told, failed to make any meaningful points. On the Venus issue I understand that it was explained by the Chairman of Venus that Yalgoo was never offered to UMC but to Venus through him - but then maybe we should not let facts interfere with whinging? I note that the press reported that the UMC board was "selling UMC" - that of course is total rubbish - the shareholders (are you one?) decide that - not the Board. So if you don't like the BHP offer vote against it - it is that simple. If you and Westcott would like to me meet me over a coffee or even a beer/wine then come out from under your stone and let some sense into your complaints. Such a discussion would be amusing I suspect as I am not on UMC's board or indeed Venus so am not party to insider information or decisions. Meanwhile its time for you to stop insulting people you do not know with misinformation. It is tedious to put it politely.
