That’s because royalties are relatively low in Congo compared to some of the other industrialized nations. Canada being the highest and Chile being the top 10. Congo even with the higher royalties still doesn’t even break the top 20 or 30. I will agree that the country will need to become more transparent and less corrupt if it ever wants to get its infrastructure developed and industrialize.
