Jung believed in a God and an afterlife

But he did not believe in an anthroporphic God

For Jung God is also another term for the Self ---distinct from the individual self

Jung made it clear our purpose in life is to grow in consciousness ---because God or the Divine or the Self needs us to become aware

So Jung would disagree with you ---making it clear we cannot live without God ---but God cannot be aware without sentient creatures like us
