For what it is worth, here are my views.

It would seem that ALMOST as many negatives as possible are coming together for Hardman.

Some are saying a major market downturn in general is on the cards. With US inflation (oil driven) interest rates are sure to rise. This some will tell you is the only thing that has been keeping the US economy strong. Australia and ALL stocks will respond to any major correction or dare I say it crash.

Fear and uncertainty will rule for now and many stocks may fall well below their intrinsic value.

As far as Hardman goes confidence in Mauritainia, blunders (lets not ignore them) by management with vague and conflicting statements, uncertainty with Tiof commerciality (thanks Woodside) and a long series of dusters, then things are not looking too good and we could well see prices sub the $1.91 of today.

The guesswork here is predicting the future and an intrinsic value for Hardman given the uncertain world we live in. Whatever we do it will be a gamble, all we can do is try to guess the odds and often go against the current reality in the short gain in the hope of a longer term gain.

I have suffered long and hard in the stockmarket and anyone who is in the market for any length of time would be a liar if they told you otherwise. The only sure way to make money in the market is to have insider info or have so much money to invest that you get "special" information.

So what to do???

I am going to take a punt that Hardman will eventually get back over $2 at least and hopefully more.Maybe not now and maybe they will go significantly lower. I have not bought any since the 1:6 placement at $1.10. I will weigh things up over the next few days, however if we see a relatively low volume selloff below $1.80 then I am up for some more.

That is just my view and I will have to be prepared to just leave my money in for an extended period. Too damn hard for me to try and make a buck short term trading these or any other stocks.
