Hi Cerhob. Can’t see the point you making with the above statement.
To some, the major political parties don’t have adequate focus on their own beliefs and so they look to elsewhere. You only have to read some of the posts here to see thats the case.
Whether one agrees with our political system or not, the cross bench Senators have been elected under that system and you have previously acknowledged that given the govt does not have a majority in the Senate the cross bench Senators have greater importance than would otherwise have been the case. So why should they be excluded from the public political discourse?
