Tony wants to keep all refugees out - not just economic ones.

According to the UN Convention (to which Australia is a signatory) - a genuine refugee is anyone who feels their life or freedom would be threatened on account of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social or political opinion. People who meet this definition aren't economic refugees, they meet the definition of a genuine refugee as covered by the Convention.

Sure, the red necks and bigots don't want genuine refugees. Understood..... But please don't make assumptions for everyone else.
