escraw, Genzyme moved because they where bought out or merged, I don't remember which, but talking to their ex employees it seemed that what they where manufacturing in the "Shed" did not fit the portfolio of products of the new entity. Their staff were pretty relieved to have Admedus move in and take a lot of them on, because as one of them told me, it's difficult to find work in this area in W.A. and they thought they would have to move interstate.
