I think that they may try to strangle AOE by getting hold of PES. if they are starving them, they may think that the sp will languish for a little longer. Because the less gigajoules AOE owns, the less money they would have to come up with if they decide to make a move. Especially if they are only paying around 32 cents per gigajoules now, thus setting another precedent.
As for PES sp, you are correct. I bought a bit before that and I bought them at about 24 cents.
IMHO, if BG would move on to AOE, Shell may have something to say about it.
Reading somewhere today while I was waiting to board a plane, I read/heard something about big Shell usually going very slowly and not doing anyhthing much, especially in this moment in time. Apparently, they like to get into joint ventures, thus reducing the risks. I HOPE I AM WRONG THOUGH.
As to why it (Shell) is acting like so, it is anyone's guess, but one would have thought that if they were interested, they would have made a move by now.
