Sounds like the East Timor project may be moving to the next stage with Steve Bracks ( ex VIC Premier) reportedly appointed by Fed Gov. as their representative to assist in further consultations between WDS and ET.Gov.
This could end up being another “ Gov.funded Strategic Investment” bit like the TLS SthPacific Telco deal.
They have a unused so called export development type slush fund …think it will need to have lots of $$$ in it to drag WDS along.
Meanwhile the low AUD vUSD should keep boosting the coffers as a hedge against fluctuations in OP..even with some production hedged.
