28% of ASX 300 stocks are loss makers: Here's why Macquarie is still backing 15 of them
This is an article in livewire. It has a list of 15 companies that Macquarie expect to out perform the market. I also has a list of companies that Macquarie expect to underperform. ASM is number 5 on the underperform list. I interpret this that they do not want people to buy ASM as they must be worried about their short positions. I have only been in the market a couple of years but have learnt not to trust advice from brokers who are trying to manipulate share holders and to me it has never been to the benefit of the share holders. I would love to know their short and long positions in the companies they have listed.
